I used to live alone and was very lonely but then my neighbor had knocked on my door one day and said that him and his girlfriend had broken up but he still had the dog they bought together. The problem was because of his work he wasn't able to take enough care of it and asked me to look after it. Being a freelance writer working from home I had the time and said that I'd do it. As time went on I found that when I went out I missed the dog and when I came home it was nice to have him there.
